I have never had ill effects from the food. I loved the smokies and well worth the 5 dollars for smokie and pop. The combination of high prices and questionable food handling practices make them totally unattractive. For frozen products, I have occasionally given in to temptation but, in general, it's usually less than a block or two to a real store -- where prices are often substantially lower. I follow a strictly Vegan diet & prepare absolutely everything I eat from scratch, at home or over my fire when camping.
